My full name is Nicole Panique Betita. It's not very long. I always thought I'd add an "Alexandra" to my name. Sounds more exotic. But I later realized my name is perfect just as it is... until I get married and I change my last name. Or then I keep my name. Or do I hyphenate? I haven't decided.
Along with my 2 older siblings, I was born in Hawaii. My parents had a business there selling beautifully hand crafted products made from capiz shells (a flat, semi-translucent, pearl-like shell found in the Philippines).
I thought it would be my life long career, but then I felt a shift. I decided to focus on yoga. I opened my own yoga studio in 2014. Then in 2015 I felt another shift, and I moved to Finland. Looking back, I realize how radical and quick my decisions were. I think when something feels right, it doesn't need much thought. When you feel a strong pull, you just need to follow.
In case you are wondering, these are the trainings I've taken to support my multidisciplinary repertoire.

We moved to the Philippines in '94 and I began my studies. I was very studious. Math, Science and Arts are what I excelled at the most. I pursued a bachelor's in Nursing under a scholarship program, and I graduated with honors in 2011. It was extremely fun but also extremely hard work.
I worked as a nurse for a few years. I delivered babies, assisted in surgeries, gunshot wounds, head traumas, cardiac arrest, you name it.
I specialize in Vinyasa Flow. It's the style with the most artistic expression. I like to bring that creativity to my classes. You'll see that also in my Barre classes. As much as I value a calm and meditative yoga flow, my heart also desires for passionate and electric movement. Life is about balance, is it not?
Nursing taught me to how treat disease. Yoga taught me how to prevent it. Barre makes sure we have fun doing it, and Pilates makes sure we do it right.
